Order of Races and General Participant Rules

 

The following is a typical order of races at the Nassau County Police Activity League track meets:

The following are general participant rules:

 

* 5/6/7 year olds may run in three races.

* 8 year olds and up may run in two races and compete in one field event.

* If a child has a birthday which falls between April 15th and May 20th, that child must compete in the older age group for the entire season.

* Each unit is limited to one relay per age group.  (one for boys and one for girls)
